**Variation 1 (Traditional)** – This interpretation by star violinist Dalibor Karvay sets the main theme of the traditional composition and is strictly represented by fully grown high trees.

**Variation 2 (Alternative)** – an **alternative interpretation** of the original theme represented by trees of half the height and 4 short blocks.

**Variation 3 (Breakpoint)** – consists of an interpretation of the theme in "**pizzicato**", a technique rarely used during Mozart’s lifetime, illustrated by small trees and 3 blocks.

**Variation 4 (Modern)** – a gradual distortion of the original sound of the first violin through the addition of **beats**. As the sound becomes modernized, it is depicted by 2 monoliths that replace the trees of the previous variations, symbolizing the transition into a new digital era.

**Variation 5 (Futuristic)** – The unpredictable and futuristic melody line generated by **constant octave jumps** illustrates the uncertainty of approaching times and is depicted by 1 massive monolith.

Violin 1 - The leading voice

**Variation 1 (Traditional)** – The **challenging melody line** of the second violin is considered the most difficult line of all, sometimes accompanying the first violin and at other times leading the bass line; it is strictly represented by fully grown high trees.

**Variation 2 (Alternative)** – an **alternative interpretation** of the original theme represented by trees of half the height and 4 short blocks.

**Variation 3 (Breakpoint)** – consists of an interpretation of the theme in "**pizzicato**", a technique rarely used during Mozart’s lifetime, illustrated by small trees and 3 blocks.

**Variation 4 (Modern)** – characterized by the distortion of the original second violin sound through echoing  beats. As the sound becomes modernized, it is depicted by 2 monoliths that replace the trees of the previous variations, symbolizing the transition into a new digital era.

**Variation 5 (Futuristic)** – The melody of the second violin is spiced up by a **sprinkle of glitter using delayed sound effects** and illustrates the uncertainty of approaching times; it is depicted by 1 massive monolith.

Violin 2 - The alternative

**Variation 1 (Traditional)** – The function of the viola line is to maintain the **heartbeat of the piece** and is strictly represented by fully grown high trees.

**Variation 2 (Alternative)** – an **alternative interpretation** of the original theme represented by trees of half the height and 4 short blocks.

**Variation 3 (Breakpoint)** – consists of an interpretation of the theme in "**pizzicato**", a technique rarely used during Mozart’s lifetime, illustrated by small trees and 3 blocks.

**Variation 4 (Modern)** – the original viola sound is bent by **strong echoing  beats**. As the sound becomes modernized, it is depicted by 2 monoliths replacing the trees of the previous variations, symbolizing the transition into a new digital era.

**Variation 5 (Futuristic)** – A **melodic twist of the main theme and a waving line** embody the futuristic melody, depicted by 1 massive monolith.

Viola - The heartbeat

**Variation 1 (Traditional)** – The **foundation** of the masterpiece is performed by the cello, keeping the bass line of the piece alive, and is strictly represented by fully grown high trees.

**Variation 2 (Alternative)** – an **alternative interpretation** of the original theme represented by trees of half the height and 4 short blocks.

**Variation 3 (Breakpoint)** – consists of an interpretation of the theme in "**pizzicato**", a technique rarely used during Mozart’s lifetime, illustrated by small trees and 3 blocks.

**Variation 4 (Modern)** – In this vintage sounding version, the cello is replaced by a **moog** synthesizer. The  addition of **light distortion** to the bass line represents a secure path forward into the future.

**Variation 5 (Futuristic)** – The futuristic bass melody line of the moog synthesizer is twisted through **echoing beats** representing the future and is depicted as 1 massive monolith.

Cello - The foundation

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s masterpiece *Eine kleine Nachtmusik* ("a little night music") was completed in Vienna on 10 August 1787 while he worked on the opera Don Giovanni, but the work was not published until about 1827, long after his death. The occasion and the patron for Mozart’s composition remains unknown today and it was probably never performed within the span of his lifetime.

Almost 200 years later and in the same city of Vienna, the world’s musical capital, Mozart’s masterpiece has been remoulded to reflect society’s evolution into today’s postmodern artistic landscape, with the incorporation of bold and futuristic cutting-edge technologies.

The structure of the Mastertrack consists of four stems: Violin 1, Violin 2, Viola and Cello, with a total of five variations per stem. Layering different stem variations over one another leads to the creation of personally crafted, magical and unique tapestries of sound, closely related to Mozart’s original.
