Polysm is an exploration of generative art that allows for combinations between music and visual forms to produce randomized and unique results. A generative music and visual experiment in which randomization occurs within a set of artistic constraints, and the process is guided to a programmed result: a balance between the expected and the unexpected, between control and relinquishment.
The term Polysm is derived from the combination of the two affixes "poly" and "ism". "Poly" expresses the concept of multiplicity and the occurrence of more than one form in the same category, while "ism" is used here to denote an attitude, condition, or quality. Polysm thus represents a tendency towards multiplicity, the emergence of multiple forms from a single source.
Details: Polysm is a five-layer music composition consisting of 5 variations for each layer. Each variation is attached to a visual element. There is also a legendary 1/1 edition that comes with exclusive audio/video content.
